How do you get menus and modules to change language when using the Joom!Fish Joomla extension?

Joomla website with 2 languages (using Joom!Fish Joomla extension); English and French. The French is default language and when the user selects English from drop down list on homepage the site changes language but only for the text content on the site, not the menus etc. How do you get it to change the language of menu items etc?

We are using Joomla 1.5 and at least version 2 of Joom!fish.

I've been taking 0 second videos with my iPod Nano 5G so it looks like its a picture. I put them on my Mac and I want to change the file extension from .MP4 to .JPG. How can you do that?

I've already tried %26quot;Get Info%26quot; then going to %26quot;Name and Extension%26quot; and changing it but it doesn't work. It is always blank and Preview says its a corrupted file.

How do I change a file extension file on Vista?

I know that I am supposed to press the layout button in Windows Explorer just left from the organize button but when I open up the explorer there is no Layout button, what should I do and/or how am I supposed to be able to change a file extension, please help.

Downloading and installing the free Microsoft Compatibility Pack on the Word 2003 machine will permit Word 2003 to read and write the .docx files. Note, though, that some Word 2007 stuff will be converted to straight text.

A file extension is the ending part of a file that tells you what type of file the file is... For eg: you could have yoursong.MP3 now the .MP3 part tells you that the file is a mp3 file... to change that you could do this but it might not work.. Right click on it and go properties, then at the top it will have a bar that tells you the file name just change the .mp3 to .wav or something like that.. To convert files like mp3 to wav you should use a program like switch that will convert it for you.. Other types of files may need other programs to convert.. Hope this helps!!

Right click the file and rename it. If you can not see the extension, go to tools/view/folder options in a folder window. Turn off hide extensions for known files. Always set this on afterwards, or an accident can lose or change the extension on a system file this could stop the machine. For future reference, he could have used a dummy extension, say .ddd, and you would then see it anyway.

Additional : if you zip an extension, many mail server filters will see this and block it anyway.

You need to change your desktop (explorer?) settings to disply the file extensions. Then all you have to do is rename the file from.jpg to .exe.

FYI tell your friend to use .txt instead of .jpg it's much more stable.
You can't.

If you must have the .exe program ask him to put it into a .zip format and send it to you and it is probably best to send it by email. If the file is too large, it may not be able to transfer on messenger anyways.

Be forewarned, many viruses and other malware is send using .exe file formats. make sure the program can be trusted absolutely.

Edit - Sorry to disagree Colin but as a JPEG file is an image, it does not contain any executable code unless maliciously installed (such as clicking on the image takes you to a malicious website), and as such can never be an EXE file.
