How to change extension of iPod Nano 5G zero second video to JPG?

I've been taking 0 second videos with my iPod Nano 5G so it looks like its a picture. I put them on my Mac and I want to change the file extension from .MP4 to .JPG. How can you do that?

I've already tried %26quot;Get Info%26quot; then going to %26quot;Name and Extension%26quot; and changing it but it doesn't work. It is always blank and Preview says its a corrupted file.

Well video and picture are different format and it's hard for you to simply rename the extension. Why don't you use iMovie and take screenshot there?

If that's a 0 second video I think it couldn't be played..
